Can we all agree on the fact that time change is a freaking doozy? I am just back in Richmond from a stint in Los Angeles and despite not being able to hold my eyelids open, so excited to share this outfit post with you guys. I did a preview of this look on Instagram the other day and got such good feedback/lots of questions about where I got this shirt. Isn’t the lace paneling on the bell sleeves amazing? I’ll give you guys one guess where I got it from – none other than my favorite shop Forever 21. Am I the only one that relies on this store for great pieces? If you have a favorite Forever 21 piece right now, send it my way!
Special thanks to Tim Regas for this awesome photo shoot in Venice Beach and to Beyonce for inspiring me to wear these sunglasses (she has them as well!) Can’t wait to do it again sometime soon.
Not a very beach-y outfit but I like it especially the button-down skirt. Looks like you had a fun day!
Agreed, not a very beach-y outfit. I love the colors, very lively.
The yellow outfit makes you look stunning. Good choice!
I love the length of the sleeves on the blouse. I've always had a thing for sleeves that are unusually long, maybe because I'm tall and sleeves are never long enough, and this blouse does the extra length thing with a lot of style. The lace gives it a vintage feel making it extra feminine and the loose cut of the body is flattering as well. Good pick for a fall day, it would probably look nice with a peasant skirt as well.
I do not know if this is it or there is a skirt to accompany it . Never the less, this looks good but the sleeves looks too loose.
I See it as an adaptable dress, the jean shorts can be a casual party ware. In some cases a skirt with the same color can go with it.
Personally, I was nowhere near brave enough to wear anything stylish when I went to Venice Beach; I ended up just going with shorts and a tank. I really like the combo you've chosen here though. It kind of says to pedestrians in that area that you actually put forth effort.
" I did a preview of this look on Instagram the other day and got such good feedback/lots of questions about where I got this shirt." What I think that, I like this lace-shirt, it is so fresh. If the color of the shirt, is baby-blue, might be more summer-look.
The yellow lace top paired with denim skirt seems fabulous. This could be any look; everyday look,tea- party look, going out with friends and many more. I just love the idea of putting a bright color top and paired with… it's so stylish/
The yellow blouse is stunning! I think it could go well with any denim bottoms!
I think that the sleeves are a bit too large. But nevertheless it is still beautiful!
Although yellow is not a good color for me personally, I find the blouse to be quite pretty. It's refreshing to see something that is feminine and stylish and leaves something to the imagination.
These long sleeves are ideal if you want to avoid direct sunshine during the weekend on the beach. That combination with the skirt is stunning. I´m also tall and slim, so this is a must have for my next holiday in front of the ocean.
Love this top! It would also look great during the holidays if you styled it with leather pants and heels, for a more dressed up version. So cute with the jean skirt though. I need those sunnies in my collection!
You look great in this ensemble! Yellow definitely suits you although that is a color that I can never wear because I just look awful in it, no matter how many times I tried.
Beautiful wear, I believe this combination of colors is nice and suitable. Look elegant and stylist.
Very nice on the model. But it will not look good on me as I don't have the height to carry it. Will make me look stumpy.
