High fashion bike shorts? We already knew that athleisure was a thing – but throughout the summer, athleisure has added bike shorts into this stylish category. These lycra shorts have been popping up on everyone from Kim Kardashian to fashion bloggers all over Instagram. I know it is just the beginning of fall, but I finally found a pair from ASOS that fit me just right. (Luckily before the weather on the east coast gets too chilly)
Yes, this was somewhat of a struggle because I have short legs and I don’t want bike shorts that go over my knee because, that’s awkward. But guess what, ASOS makes petite black bike shorts (shop them here)! It’s as if the fashion gods heard my prayer and answered me.
Been wondering if it’s time to invest in a pair of bike shorts? Cathclaire says yes because you won’t spend more than 20 bucks on them if you scoop them from ASOS. See several different ways to style these shorts in today’s pictures! I’ll link options below! xo
PS How unreal is this view from the rooftop at the Graduate in Charlottesville?

I feel like I’d need to grab the same shorts as you because I am short as well. I love the view at the rooftop!
Bike shorts are so much more than a wardrobe staple for actual cycling. Whether you’re wearing them with an oversize blazer and heels for a polished look or layering them under a slip dress that’s gathered or tucked just enough to reveal your spandex bottoms for a summer night.
The factor that you need to keep in before buying cycling shorts is the length of the shorts. Everyone can decide the length according to your comfort.
It is indeed a fashion trend, but it is really difficult to choose a fitting one. Thank you for your suggestions.
Thank you for sharing. I just wanted to buy clothing recently. It’s helpful.
