How I Upgraded My Life in 30 Days with Dr. Joe Dispenza

I have been a student of all things personal development since 2011. This obsession was sparked when the *hit* book The Secret by Rhonda Byrnes came out (see more about my feelings on The Secret here) and hasn’t stopped since. The Secret cracked open a part of me that I didn’t even know existed and ever since that book, I have been reading voraciously/watching videos on Youtube about anything and everything to do with quantum physics, the law of attraction, and beyond. It can get kinda esoteric and weird, in the best way.

This *voracious* reading journey brought me to Dr. Joe Dispenza in August of 2016. His message really resonated with me and it wasn’t very long before I was signing up to attend his 3-day Progressive Workshop in Philadelphia.

I’ll never forget when I was notified that there were pre-reqs for this workshop in Philly. *flashbacks to college* The pre-requisites for Dr. Joe’s Progressive Workshop were to read his book Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself and to do the accompanying meditations (Body Parts in Space or Water Rising) for 30 days. Of course I could handle the book thing but when I saw that the meditations required were an HOUR AND 20 MINUTES, I kind of freaked. I hadn’t done a mediation past 20 minutes at this point.

ONE HOUR AND 20 MINUTES? FOR 30 DAYS? What the heck did I get myself into? Is my workshop ticket refundable? JK and no, no it’s not.

Despite my hesitation and my usual allergy to routine, I found myself taking this commitment (to upgrade my life) very seriously. Each day I successfully meditated, my urge to do my meditation the next day got stronger and before I knew it, the synchronicities in my life got more apparent. Dream campaigns for The Crystal Press and Cathclaire came my way, a sense of true freedom – which is a feeling I’ve come to cherish, vacations, shopping trips – you name it, things were happening. *Don’t forget, I was also reading his book Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself during these 30 days as well.*

As I’ve grown over the past 3 years, I’ve often asked myself why Dr. Joe’s teachings stuck with me so well. Why did his work come so easily to me?

I finally cracked the case, peeps. Meditating while reading new information is the catalyst to creating new habits and upgrading your life. Several people I’ve recommended Dr. Joe to have dabbled in his work and appreciated for what it is, but thats where it ended. Without the meditation to open your mind – his work and the science behind it can be so daunting that you close the book before you get to the jackpot. You stop before you get to the end of the rainbow and I assure you, doing the work and getting that pot of gold is 100 percent worth it.

In short: How did I upgrade my life in 30 days? I did the Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself meditation for 30 days in a row while reading Dr. Joe Dispenza’s book Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself. I am a completely different person because of those 30 days and I can’t recommend this protocol enough. I dare you to check it out and take the leap toward your dream life.

PS – This is the instagram I posted while at the Loews hotel in Philadelphia for Dr. Joe’s workshop. While nothing in this photo is an obvious indicator of that to you, I still remember the feeling of possibility in that very moment (that I am pretty sure is STILL lingering 3 years later…)and am forever grateful for the journey committing to a change in those 30 days + following through with attending Dr. Joe’s workshop has put me on.
